AI Blood Results is an educational website. The information here is provided to help you understand common blood tests — it is not a diagnosis, not medical advice, and never a substitute for your own clinician.
Information only — not a diagnosis
Everything published on AI Blood Results is for general information and education. It is written to help you make sense of what the terms and numbers on a typical blood test report mean, so you can have a better-informed conversation with a healthcare professional. Nothing on this site is a medical diagnosis, a clinical assessment or a recommendation to start, stop or change any test, medicine or treatment. Our guides describe what markers generally indicate across a population; they cannot tell you what your particular result means for you.
Not medical advice, and no doctor–patient relationship
Reading this website, emailing us, or using any tool we link to does not create a doctor–patient relationship, and it is not a consultation. We are an independent editorial team, not your treating clinicians, and we do not know your history, your symptoms or your examination findings. Only a qualified professional who can assess you directly is in a position to interpret your results and advise you. Please do not delay seeking, or disregard, professional medical advice because of something you have read here.
Reference ranges vary by lab
Any figures or "normal" ranges we mention are typical UK examples, drawn from sources such as the NHS, NICE and Lab Tests Online UK. They are not universal. Laboratories use different analysers, methods and units, so the reference range printed on your report may differ from the one in a guide — and a value flagged as outside the range is not automatically a problem. Your own report's ranges are always the ones that apply to you. Ranges can also depend on your age, sex, pregnancy, ethnicity and the reason the test was done, which is another reason interpretation belongs with a clinician who knows your context.
Always consult your GP
If you have a question or concern about your results, or about your health in general, please speak to your GP or another suitably qualified healthcare professional. They can see your full picture and are the right people to interpret what your numbers mean and what, if anything, should happen next. Use our content to prepare for that conversation — not to replace it.
Accuracy and no warranty
We work hard to keep our guides accurate, current and clearly written, and we cite reputable sources. Even so, medical knowledge evolves and mistakes can happen. We make no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability or suitability of the information for any particular purpose. The content is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI Blood Results accepts no liability for any loss or harm arising from reliance on anything published on this site. If you spot something that looks wrong or out of date, we would be grateful if you would tell us via our contact page so we can review it.
External links and third-party tools
Our guides sometimes link to other websites, including the AI blood-test analysers we review and public clinical resources. Those links are provided for convenience and further reading. We do not control third-party websites or tools and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices, and a link does not imply endorsement of everything on the destination site. Any AI-based analyser — including tools we rate well — is an aid to understanding, not a medical device, a diagnosis or a replacement for professional care. Please read each provider's own terms and privacy information before you use it.
